How Can We Stop Suicide?
Suicide is an often misleading word that people use as a joke. People need to come to their senses and realize its a plague that affects teens. Most teens cry out for help before they kill themselves because he or she does not want to die. Moreover, when the teen's cries are not noticed or paid attention to most end up committing suicide, because they believe they have nothing to live for. Teens that have different sexual preferences are often the one's that commit suicide. This is due to bullying, bullying is a plague that affects the youth nowadays and needs to cured. I say so because most teens bully other kids with low self-esteem to be accepted into the group by their friends, which is pointless and retarded. Bullying makes teens want to hurt themselves because teens feel like they have no one to help them and they are forced to go to school, which puts them at an even greater risk of suicide. Bullying must be stopped in order to stop suicide, no one should be looked differently just because of their sexual preference; we are all humans.
In addition in order to stop bullying of kids with different sexual preferences we must address the use of foul language, encourage kids to come out about their problems, and seek help from others. By doing this it'll give kids a sense of hope and they will feel that there is something to live for. Not only that but teens won't see a need to hurt themselves. Another problem that needs to be addressed i believe kids have to stop thinking that you are better than another person because of your materialistic items or because you have money, whatever the case may be. It does not give you the reason to make fun of a kid because they din't have name brand shoes, just to get a laugh out of the crowd you hang out with. You might not know students situation at home or outside of school. I believe kids need to put themselves in other people's shoes before they decide to bully them and ask themselves, how would you like it if you were getting bullied and you have no one to turn to for answer's. In conclusion, the world is filled with possibilities its the right choices you make that make you a better person and hence move the world. For example a gay teenager was found dead by his brother after killing himself a day after bullies who had taunted him relentlessly had organized a fight with him. Brandon Elizares, 16, was an Andress High School sophomore with bright prospects for the future, but the pressure of threats affected him so badly that he took his own life. What I wouldve done to prevent this was talk him out to show him that he could make it through this and that theres a lot of people like him, Theres a big gay community that he could fit in just to show him hes not in this alone.
